CONCORD ENGINEERING GROUP, INC. is searching for an Electrical Engineer I for our multi-disciplined Healthcare / Sciences Department.
POSITION SUMMARY
Primary responsibility is to support senior engineers in designing electrical systems for various clients. Coordinate and work with the design team within your discipline and work with the Project Manager to execute project objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
This position can be hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Voorhees, NJ office.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Perform engineering calculations, preparing single line diagrams, sizing of electrical components and equipment, conduct short circuit analysis where required and prepare technical specifications.
- Review projects regularly to ensure departmental standards and requirements are consistent with client requirements and the project budget.
- Perform design, layout, and checking of electrical systems drawings and ensure the technical correctness of the drawings by using the applicable job, federal, state and local standards and codes.
- Perform site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings and provide field construction support, as required.
- Coordinate with facility owners and architects regularly; ensuring the highest levels of responsiveness and communication.
- Conduct shop drawing reviews and construction administration.
