Position Title

  • Sr. WebSphere Engineer with Z / os exp. Position Responsibilities

Infrastructure Engineer (WebSphere / zOS)

Work Location : Columbus, OH (3 day onsite , 2 days WFH)

MUST HAVE SKILLS : WEBSPHERE, Z / OS, INFRASTURURE

Roles and Responsibilities :

Skills :

  • Configuration management
  • Security management
  • Should have Mainframe background (batch jobs, etc)
  • Supporting Liberty product (IBM) and z / OS connect product (API Gateway)
  • Proficient across WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security) and Connectivity (planning, securing)

    • Must Have Skills :

  • Must have 3 years minimum experience with z / OS - Get on TSO, run batch jobs, write JCL, etc
  • Must be able to write Shell scripts (Python scripts are a plus) to automate
  • Must have experience with USS (directory permissions, audit bit as well as how the owner, groups, users work with regards to ownership)
  • Must have 5 years minimum experience across the Webshere product domain
