Job Overview :
Seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care on a temporary basis due to a provider leave of absence. This role requires experience in managing complex inner-city adult psychiatric patients.
Key Details :
- Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry
- Patient Volume : 10 patients per day, admitting / discharging 0-3 daily
- Average Length of Stay : 9 days
- Number of Beds : 10
- Additional Support Staff :
o Lead nurse and assigned social worker available daily
o Residents may assist with EMR troubleshooting if not in a teaching role
o Department Chair support until autonomous in patient care and EMR
