Concord Public Schools is seeking a caring, enthusiastic special education assistant preferably with ABA experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Delay in an educational setting. Experience with discrete trial teaching is ideal. Familiarity with Verbal Behavior is preferred, but not required. Essential job duties include: providing 1:1 discrete trial instruction to ASD students requiring ABA programming, collecting student data and implementing behavior interventions, reporting to a supervising BCBA and special educators and using feedback to modify academic and behavioral programming, and helping students generalize skills across school settings under the supervision of a lead special educator in a substantially separate elementary classroom.
