Located in Ligonier, PA, Concordia at Bethlen is seeking a Part Time/Full Time Speech Therapist. The Speech Therapist is a licensed professional responsible for providing therapeutic intervention in the rehabilitation and restoration of residents through the use of assessment and treatment procedures/modalities. We strive to hire excellent people at Concordia - and keep them as well! Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Speech Therapist: Performing comprehensive evaluations of residents. Completing assessments and diagnostic procedures. Developing treatment plans. Providing speech language pathology services, treatments, and therapeutic interventions. Planning safe discharges with the resident, family, caregivers, and physician. Completing timely documentation. Committing to and maintaining high ethical standards and complies with the Code of Conduct. This Speech Therapist position features competitive pay and an environment for growth! Qualifications of a Speech Therapist: Must possess a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university program Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.) Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania A.S.H.A. membership encouraged C.P.R. certification strongly preferred and encouraged One to two years experience preferred in a long-term care/sub-acute care as S.L.P.
