Under the guidance of our experienced Dining Services Director, a Dining Room Server plays a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy exceptional dining experiences. Some key responsibilities include:
SHIFT SCHEDULES
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities for our Dining Room Servers. Our community serves two meals per day: lunch and dinner.

Under the guidance of our experienced Dining Services Director, a Dining Room Server plays a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy exceptional dining experiences. Some key responsibilities include:
- Providing outstanding customer service to staff, residents, families, and guests, responding thoughtfully to questions and concerns.
- Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere during meals, ensuring every guest feels valued and respected.
- Following established protocols while serving in the main dining room and at special events.
- Collaborating with the hostess on duty to address any special meal arrangements.
- Serving residents promptly and efficiently, bussing tables between courses in a organized manner, and resetting tables daily.
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
- Working effectively as part of a team, following instructions, and maintaining a positive rapport with residents.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the host/hostess or management staff.
- Presenting a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Collaborating with staff from other departments to achieve common goals.

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or long-term care dining environment is preferred.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to resident and emergency needs with or without reasonable accommodation.
