WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTED LIVING ADMINISTRATOR Concordia is excited to announce the promotion of our current Assisted Living Administrator, creating an opportunity for someone to fill this position.
The Assisted Living Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Concordia’s assisted living community, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for residents. This role requires strong leadership and a passion for fostering a supportive and engaging environment for both residents and staff. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this position, as the Administrator will collaborate with residents, families, staff, and external healthcare providers to uphold Concordia’s commitment to quality care.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTED LIVING ADMINISTRATOR
We are a small, 20-apartment Assisted Living community. The responsibilities of the Assisted Living Administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living community, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and support the Catered Assisted Living staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring a high quality of care and service.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee development to ensure appropriate coverage and training.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure residents' needs are met while supporting their autonomy and dignity, providing the appropriate level of assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Oversee the move-in process, working closely with families and team members to ensure a smooth transition and resident retention.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- The Administrator oversees payroll for Catered Living and collaborates with the Office Manager to ensure accuracy. Monitors the Catered Living kitchen budget to maintain financial alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external healthcare providers, referral sources, and regulatory agencies.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care in a supportive, resident-centered environment.
SCHEDULE OF THE ASSISTED LIVING ADMINISTRATOR
This is a full-time position with regular hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. However, flexibility is required to accommodate after-hours, holiday, or weekend needs, including filling in for shifts as needed.
COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
Compensation is based on experience, with a set salary and a monthly occupancy-based bonus. Additionally, all employees receive paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, one complimentary meal per shift, and 15-minute breaks.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ASSISTED LIVING ADMINISTRATOR
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in a Senior Living Community.
- Education: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of experiences and education.
- Licensed Assisted Living and Residential Care Administrator
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for business travel.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, walk/stand 70% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
