Faculty: Visiting Professor of Psychology

Position Summary

Concordia University Wisconsin seeks a part-time Visiting Instructor in Psychology for the AY 2025-2026. This position is located at the Mequon, WI campus in the Department of Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities include Introductory Psychology and other related courses, including but not limited to Lifespan Development and Theories of Learning. Candidates from all areas of specialization are encouraged to apply. The candidate's primary commitment should be to student learning in both face-to-face and online formats, and they should be well-versed in the Canvas LMS. This position carries a teaching load of 5 courses (15 credits) for the academic year.

Education & Experience

Earned doctorate in Psychology or a related discipline is preferred although highly qualified applicants making good progress toward a Ph.D. will be required. Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred. All ranked faculty members must be members of Christian congregations. CUW is a Lutheran University (LCMS) that emphasizes the integration of faith and learning in all areas.

This is a part-time, faculty, exempt position. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
