This position requires full time onsite work at our Maitland location. This is not a remote position. Applicants must currently be local to Central Florida. BASIC PURPOSE : Responsible for the overall design, performance and availability of the network. Analyzes the network, recommends upgrades / changes as well as assesses the organization's current and future network needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Designs and implements solutions to ensure consistency in network operations. Acts as primary Information Technologies subject matter expert to any network or datacenter initiatives. Directs and monitors project resources according to defined schedule. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. Responsible for the overall performance and availability of the network. Develops and assists team members with the use of new processes and tools. Analyzes network and recommends upgrades / changes; assesses the organization's current and future network needs. Researches, recommends and develops new opportunities for utilizing current and emerging technology. Collects system performance statistics and creates trend analysis. Monitors the mail systems and scans for content and virus threats to the organization. Monitors the Microsoft Active Directory environment for best practices and optimal performance. Manages all network systems for LAN / WAN. Pay for this position is commensurate with experience of candidate.
