Position Overview
The President / General Manager (President/GM) will partner with Executive Leadership to drive the company's growth strategies while overseeing day-to-day operations. This role is primary responsible for serving in partnership with the President as the “Implementor”, developing and executing strategic plans, managing overall profit and loss, and leading annual sales, business, operational, and marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who fosters collaboration, drives continuous improvement, and maintains high levels of employee engagement across the organization. In addition to executing strategic plans, the President/GM ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the company’s people strategy by fostering a strong company culture and maintaining positive employee relations to sustain a union-free status.
- Ensure consistent promotion of company core values, policies, and procedures.
- Champion performance management, employee training and development, and compensation strategies.
- Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving commitments.
- Develop growth opportunities for managers within the company.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®), acting primarily as the “Integrator” for the organization overall, but also serving as a Visionary as needed, especially when determining and executing strategies for the Plants.
Operations & Compliance
- In partnership with Plant Managers, oversee and ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations, driving a zero-incident safety culture.
- Support the efficient coordination and execution of day-to-day manufacturing and operations.
- Ensure adherence to core processes and operational consistency across the organization.
- Implement and support Lean Manufacturing principles.
Business Development & Customer Relations
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, vendors, and key industry partners.
- Drive innovative product development and successful new product launches.
- Support and develop multiple go-to-market strategies, including independent sales reps, distribution partnerships, and direct utility customer sales.
Financial & Risk Management
- Partner with the CFO to assess financial risks, legal contracts, tax obligations, and other contingent liabilities.
- Drive profitability by executing the business plan and meeting/exceeding P&L objectives.
- Ensure strong financial oversight, including income statements, balance sheets, and return models.
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between leadership and the broader organization, ensuring key messages are clearly and consistently communicated.
- Collaborate effectively with the President, aligning on strategic priorities and translating ideas into actionable plans.
- Maintain a culture of open communication, ensuring all employees are informed and aligned with company goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience with a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Titan ERP software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and return models.
- Understanding of the EOS® framework and methodologies
Industry Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing and accessory products.
- Expertise in underground utility products, including design, manufacturing, and delivery methods.
- Experience managing multi-channel sales strategies, including independent sales reps, distribution networks, and direct sales.

Salary : $180,000 - $260,000
