Job Overview:
Concrete Driveway Co is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our companys financial records and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in bookkeeping software, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Financial Records: Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile Accounts: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company records.
- Process Payroll: Assist in processing payroll and ensure all deductions are correctly calculated.
- Invoice Management: Prepare and send invoices to clients, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Tax Compliance: Assist with preparing and filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records for easy retrieval.
- Ensure Financial Accuracy: Double-check records for errors and discrepancies, ensuring financial data is up to date and accurate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma required; Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Certification in Bookkeeping or Accounting (e.g., AIPB, CPAs) is a plus.
Desired Skills:

- Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
