Concrete Laborer/Finisher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for working in the construction industry. This role involves assisting in various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Assist in the mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete for various projects.
• Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate placement of concrete structures.
• Perform tasks related to drywall installation, renovation, and framing carpentry.
• Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps in concrete structures.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with drywall installation and renovation projects.
• Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with metal stud framing practices.
• Basic masonry skills are a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively on a construction site as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
