SUMMARY
Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Concrete Saw Crew Supervisor for our Commercial and Heavy Highway projects. The Saw Crew Supervisor will manage and lead a crew of 6-8 members responsible for measuring, marking, and sawing concrete. The Supervisor will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and with outstanding quality. Crew Supervisors provide outstanding leadership, quality training, excellent communication skills, and always represent the company in a friendly and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee field operations to ensure crew is operating efficiently and effectively, maximizing schedule and hours.
- Layout, plan, communicate, organize, and direct assigned team members in all aspects of commercial and heavy highway concrete sawing operations.
- Ensure all tools and equipment, including but not limited to, various high and low horsepower concrete saws are used and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Coordinate daily work with Heavy Highway and Commercial Operations Managers, Supervisors, Project Managers, General Contractors, and other personnel as needed.
- Complete projects in strict accordance to plans and specifications and maintain a production schedule for 3 working days.
- Process respective administrative duties in a timely fashion.
- Work with team, clients/owners, and inspectors in a professional and friendly manner and relay a positive attitude toward coworkers, vendors and clients.
- Adhere to and strictly enforce all safety protocols and procedures including wearing appropriate safety equipment and using excellent safety practices while visiting job site per CTI policies, OSHA, and Federal and State laws and regulations.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of concrete supervisory experience required.
- 3 years of concrete saw crew experience required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver license and insurable Motor Vehicle Record required.
- Ability to work flexible work hours including night and weekend hours required.
- Able to maintain a high level of work quality.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills among field crews and capable of instilling positive attitudes.
- Posses excellent time management skills. Able to work well under time constraints and respond positively to change.
- Professional, friendly, posses a positive attitude, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Must pass post conditional offer of employment physical.
