Location: Naval Weapons Station Earle in Leonardo, NJ
Minimum Clearance Required: CAC Access
Clearance Level Must Be Able to Maintain: CAC Access
Note: This position is a 3-Month Temporary/Contract Assignment. This role will be May through July. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a Temporary Health and Safety Officer to support operations in Leonardo, NJ. This temporary role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe working environment during a period of heightened construction activity at the Ohmsett Facility. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with a proven track record in OSHA compliance and on-site safety management.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role is essential in maintaining the highest safety standards during a period of increased construction activity. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards
- Conducting safety audits
- Delivering safety training and daily safety briefings
- Managing incident investigations
- Updating safety documentation, as needed
- Developing job hazard analyses
- Providing onsite safety supervision
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of safety experience
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain base access (Naval Weapons Station Earle – Leonardo, NJ)
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- OSHA 10/30-Hour Construction or General Industry Certification
- Strong background in health and safety management
