Description : Purpose of Role
We are seeking a full-time Group Leader to be part of our Operations team for both first and second shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Area Manager.
This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a competent level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Supervise and direct production team members on proper work procedures, managing work schedules and expedite workflow to meet production needs
- Adhere to Condair’s Quality program. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers, and other employees.
- Strict adherence to Condair’s Health and Safety policies, rules, and regulations is required. An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Plan, promote, and organize professional training activities related to products.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency in the department, or work crews.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Assists in the setting up of machines and equipment.
- Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance supervisor / Manager.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
