JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail oriented Associate Talent Manager in New York City to book celebrity talent across all Conde Nast editorial video series. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with industry relationships, and has a knowledge of media trends and passion for pop culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work and collaborate as part of The Talent Group Video Team, and support fellow talent managers with content brainstorming, shoot coordinating, and on-set coverage.
Proactively strategize, pitch, and negotiate talent bookings within an assigned beat for editorial video across all Conde Nast brands and YouTube series.
Effectively communicate, and contribute in weekly talent meetings to provide booking updates to the Conde Nast programming teams.
Work in partnership with the programming and production teams for each booked shoot to ensure they're executed seamlessly and videos are published in a timely manner.
Coordinate with brand social teams and talent representatives to secure video promotion across social handles.
Maintain and nurture strong relationships with studios, networks, music labels and personal publicists to create awareness of CNE initiatives and video booking opportunities.
Have a strong grasp of pop culture, celebrities, influencers, cultural experts, athletes, and social media stars to best pitch and book across all Conde Nast titles.
Skills & Qualifications:
2 years experience in talent relations, PR, or talent booking.
Relationships with celebrity publicists, studios, music labels and networks are needed.
Must be detail oriented, and have the ability to collaborate and work synergistically in a team environment.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $56,500 -$83,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
