The Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) provides innovative programs for individuals with neurological motor disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy. Serving over 150 participants annually, CECO integrates physical, cognitive, and social learning to maximize independence and improve quality of life through a unique approach called Conductive Education.
Position: Events & Engagement Coordinator
CECO is seeking a dynamic Events & Engagement Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of events that raise awareness, build relationships, and support fundraising efforts. This role is key in engaging the Central Florida community and stakeholders to further CECO’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all signature events (e.g., Night of Dreams Gala, Raymond Golf Classic)
- Coordinate CECO’s Young Professionals Group and event committees
- Oversee event logistics, vendor relations, and in-kind donations
- Collaborate on sponsorship packages, event promotion, and materials
- Manage event budgets, tracking performance and expenses
- Organize smaller events and represent CECO at community outreach opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in event planning and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Canva and Constant Contact a plus
- Willingness to work evenings/weekends and lift up to 30 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and background check required
