Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction management, at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large scale construction projects in the solar renewable industry.
- Certification in OSHA (30-hour) is preferred.
- The following certifications are preferred but are not required for employment.
- Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- LEED Accredited Professional preferred but not required.
- Certified Renewable Energy Professional (REP)
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review contracts and construction documents to fully understand the scope of work and contractual obligations between Conductor Power and our clients.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure processes and procedures are being followed. This includes monitoring things such as:
- Project budget: Initial, Adjusted and Estimated vs actual as the project progresses
- Detailed Construction Schedule – Both Baseline and weekly updates
- Change orders: Approving and ensuring we have client approval prior to proceeding with work.
- Crew size/makeup.
- Equipment requirements assigned per crew.
- Production Analysis
- Quality
- Safety
- Milestone dates, turnover schedules, project closeout documents
- Inspect project sites, attend field meetings, and inform the Vice President of Construction of any potential issues including safety or legal, that would delay or prevent the project from completion.
- Implement construction policies and procedures throughout the department and ensure the department is compliant with CP standards and state and federal laws.
- Participate in project proposal meetings to evaluate the proposal and provide input on resources allocation.
- Identifies vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for construction projects. Assists in final selection and negotiation of prices as needed.
- Assists with allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure schedules are met.
- Communicates effectively with others to ensure productivity and timely resolution of conflicts.
- Ensures that company safety and quality standards are being met.
- Directs, mentors, and supports direct reports through training and feedback.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
