Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/RN and in collaboration with other members of the Patient Care Team, assists with the direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Performs a variety of non-patient care duties. Provides care based upon the age and developmental needs of child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.

We are looking for a Mental Health Technician to join our team of mental health professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals in the delivery of psychiatric services. The Mental Health Technician will also provide direct patient care, including administering medications, observing patient behavior, and assisting with activities of daily living. Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient behavior and document changes in patient's condition.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the psychiatrist.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Assist with patient activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
