We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Foreman to lead our warehouse operations and ensure smooth production processes.
The Warehouse Foreman will oversee daily operations in our warehouse, managing a small team of workers, ensuring efficient manufacturing of parts, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, an eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of operations and meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring the timely and accurate production of parts for containers.
- Oversee a small team of warehouse workers, providing training, guidance, and support.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory and materials, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that parts are produced and stored correctly.
- Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Maintain production schedules and coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to warehouse activities, including inventory and production status.
- Handle scheduling and shift assignments for the warehouse team.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a degree or certifications in manufacturing, logistics, or related fields is a plus).
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings (preferred).
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
