Working knowledge of tribal payroll accounting process, procedures, and report preparation. Personal computer skills in spreadsheets. 10-key and other general office equipment. Good interpersonal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of Federal, State and local reporting requirements. Tax Law knowledge and understanding of federal wage and hour laws and Fair Labor Standards Act. Working knowledge of accounting general ledger software such as FMS, PDS and QuickBooks. Ability to journaling accounting transactions and to monitor due to's / from's. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Requirements
Must maintain strict confidentiality. Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Will be required to also pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
