What are your responsibilities?
- Design, develop, and implement base code for audio-visual (AV) systems using Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, AMX, or other software and hardware.
- Program DSPs for audio applications to include setting up, calibrating, and tuning the systems as per the technical specifications using hardware such as Biamp and Q-SYS.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in AV systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This may include analyzing system data, running tests, or revising code as necessary.
- Provide remote technical support to field technicians during installation, maintenance, and repair of AV systems. This may involve guiding them through complex procedures, interpreting technical specifications, or helping troubleshoot unexpected issues.
- Perform onsite testing of code and system functionality to ensure reliability, stability, and meet the defined performance metrics.
- Majority of work to be remotely performed but need to be able to go to site to resolve more complex issues and programming requirements.
- Other tasks as assigned

Does experience count?
- Education : Associates degree is preferred, but not required. We consider your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.
- Control system programming experience with the following manufactures: Crestron, Q-SYS, AMX, Extron
- Audio DSP programming experience with the following manufactures: Biamp, Q-SYS, BSS
- Manufacturer certifications for the above manufacture can be vital for demonstrating proficiency with specific technologies, however hands-on skills and practical experience are equally valued, providing deeper understanding and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Attitude and Aptitude : Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
- Communication : Very important! You will be working and communicating with clients, and different departments within the company. Lines of communication must be clear, concise, and open, in order for the process to run smoothly.
- Must have a valid driver's license and either a passport, or be able to obtain a passport by the first 6 months of employment.
