Private Club – Full-Time
A prestigious private membership club with approximately 300 members is seeking a seasoned and hands-on Head Catering Manager to oversee and elevate our culinary and events experience.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day food and beverage operations while also planning and executing a wide variety of events, including weddings, private dinners, fundraisers, and seasonal celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all aspects of food and beverage service, including daily dining operations and event catering
- Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including scheduling, hiring, and training
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus and event offerings
- Manage budgets, cost controls, vendor relationships, and inventory
- Plan and execute events from start to finish, including member-hosted functions, private celebrations, and charitable gatherings
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Provide a high-touch hospitality experience while maintaining discretion and professionalism
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience managing food and beverage operations, ideally in a private club, boutique hotel, or high-end event venue
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for hospitality
- A track record of successful event planning and execution
- High attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Experience with POS systems, vendor management, and budget oversight
This is a full-time, on-site position in a refined, member-focused environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required based on event needs.
