Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, particularly in fine dining and food production. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences. The Catering Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering events while ensuring the highest standards of food handling and safety.

Duties

  • Supervise and lead the catering team to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.
  • Plan and execute catering events from start to finish, including menu selection, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Manage food production processes to guarantee quality and consistency in all catered dishes.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during events.
  • Collaborate with culinary staff to develop innovative menu options that meet client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and tracking sales data.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or catering industry, preferably in fine dining settings.
  • Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food handling practices, and culinary arts.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for clients.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in training and developing team members.
