Summary:

Efficiently set-up and operate CNC and manual grinders including 2 plus set ups weekly.  Adjust and perform a series of grinding operations including outer & inner diameter, boring, centerless and facing.

Seeking a mechanically inclined Grinder, preferably from a medical device or aerospace background to help manufacture precision mechanical components.

Job Description

• Work from blueprints, process sheets, tooling instructions & standard charts.
• Identify component & manufacturing specifications.
• Enter data into ERP system.
• Verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications using gauges & related measuring devices.
• Set up and verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required.
• Inspect own work and others for correct dimensions, quality and quantity standards.
• Complete all required documentation. 
• Compute dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times.
• Will be required to operate multiple machines and use hand tools.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
