What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect position at Confidental Company?
We are working on behalf of our client, a large National Insurance Company looking for a Solutions Architect.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid scheme, so the candidate may attend the office in Wilmington, DE at least 3 times a week.
Reporting to The Director of Enterprise Architecture, this individual contributor will manage end-to-end complex projects related to a technology inflection happening inside the organization, where legacy infrastructure is being replaced.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead technical design for enterprise-scale technology projects, promoting collaboration with other solutions architects and business stakeholders.
- Set technology direction through development of architecture, roadmaps, standards, and best practices.
- Create and maintain business and technology architectures and capability models.
- Take to successful completion of the projects, leveraging a background in one or more fundamental IT disciplines (infrastructure, cloud technologies, application development, enterprise application integration, data, etc.) .

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience as an enterprise or solutions architect owning projects from end to end.
- Having worked in enterprise-scale designs is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of various architecture practices, frameworks, and methodologies.
- XaaS design and implementation experience desired.

Pay: $160,000.00 per year
