What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Advisor position at Confidential - Auto Dealership?
We are a Dayton-based dealership looking for an Automotive Service Advisor.
Your role as a service advisor is being responsible for scheduling service work in the Service Department and for selling additional needed services for customers.
Some of your daily routine consists of :
Maintaining the daily production control schedule.
Scheduling service appointments.
Greeting customers at their vehicles in a timely and friendly manner.
Completing the pre-form inspection
Taking phone calls from customers regarding the status of vehicles or other questions regarding our service to them.
You will maintain consistent and open communication with the customer, the service department, and the parts department.
Will use your ability to listen and ask questions to ensure you understand what is going on with the customer's vehicle.
You will demonstrate your strong communication skills in both oral and written communication.
You will use your proficient computer skills to ensure complete documentation for the customer and the manufacturer.
Requirement
A valid driver's license is required and a good driving record.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong computer skills
Critical thinking, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills to perform their job successfully
