Loan Analyst
The Loan Analyst is responsible for assisting a variety of Lending Product Pricing and Portfolio Valuation Analysis activities to establish the organization’s pricing of its lending products. This includes developing loan program annual percentage rates (APRs), dealer costs, loan terms, payment factors and promotional lending products. The Analyst will have an understanding of developing required interest rates (and APRs) from market securitization and whole loan sale valuation assumptions and has the ability to apply in practice. They will assist with the preparation of loan rate sheets and lending products and present to Company leadership. They will work with stakeholders throughout the organization to plan, analyze, prepare, complete and present Pricing Analysis activities. They will analyze and forecasts financial, economic and other data related to Pricing to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.
Essential Functions
- Completes, verifies, and analyzes financial information to provide accurate and timely information for making financial decisions
- Reviews data, information and reports for accuracy and thoroughness Function
- Prepares detailed pricing on a regular basis for product sectors, dealers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
- Analyzes trends in financial and business key performance indicators
- Performs Pricing, loan performance and loan production variance analysis of budget, forecast and actual financial performance, including interpreting and documenting variance drivers, identifies areas of concern related
- Reviews dealer loan pricing and program performance to make recommendation of action steps
- Reviews industry trends and activities
- Recommends and implements changes in procedures and systems
- Participates in various projects providing management, research, and collaboration with multiple resources to address specific finance related needs
- Acts as a resource for team members
- Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
- Performs other job-related duties required the same general knowledge, skills, and degree of responsibility commensurate with assigned level
