Salary Range : $70,000 - $85,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our growing team. This pivotal role will support all financial activities within the accounting department, with a focus on general ledger management, financial statement presentation, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, along with an understanding of the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee and assist with the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures, ensuring proper cross-training and coverage within the department.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the accounting team.
- Monitor operating cash flow on a daily basis, including processing company check runs, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.
- Assist in the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Collaborate with the CFO, external banking relationships, and other financial institutions to assist in the annual audit process.
- Support decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Manage fixed asset schedules to track owned, leased, and rented equipment.
- Oversee the management of prepaid and amortization schedules.
