About the Position :

Successful medical services company in Missouri, and affiliate companies, seeks an in-house attorney due to rapid growth. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience, be productive in remote environment, have import / export law experience, and be motivated to work in different areas of law as the needs arise.
Education :
Juris Doctor
Admitted in Missouri
Kansas admission a plus
Undergraduate degree in biology or other scientific field preferred
Responsibilities :
Research and analysis of regulatory laws related to import and export of medical products and ability to translate into timelines, summaries and other reports for leadership team
Day-to-day support for all issues related to import and export of medical products
Prepare necessary documents and work with customs officials
Manage outside counsel, as necessary
Resolving general business issues that may arise on day to day basis
Other duties or special projects, as assigned and related to general needs of business(es)
Willingness to work outside of normal working hours to meet deadlines or other priorities on occasional basis
Skill set :
2 years’ experience in law firm setting, preferably related to import / export of products
Contract review / negotiation and other transactional experience preferred
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Organized and able to multitask
Ability to prioritize
Able to work independently
Ability to work remotely and maintain high productivity
Experience negotiating business deals preferred
Compensation Overview :
Salary range $100,000 – $150,000, dependent on experience
