The Director of Billing and Fulfillment combines responsibilities from both billing and fulfillment operations, ensuring seamless financial and logistical processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for our billing, licensing, and fulfillment operations, aligning with company growth objectives and customer needs.
- Led a cross-functional team responsible for billing systems, license issuance, and product delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement of our order-to-cash processes, implementing best practices and technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of billing models, subscription management, and revenue recognition practices. Oversee invoicing, revenue collection, and account reconciliation.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and Product teams to ensure compliant and effective licensing policies, regulations, and systems
- Build and maintain robust reporting and analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights on revenue operations performance
- Ensure high standards of data integrity, security, and compliance across all billing and licensing systems
- Direct and guide external customers, internal colleagues, and employees on business operations initiatives
- Ensure the execution and implementation of value-added strategic initiatives by evaluating operational processes and procedures for potential improvement opportunities.
- Drive and monitor the execution of department projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, and removing barriers and obstacles that impact.

- Assess and drive procedural and regulatory compliance across departments by ensuring consistency within processes, overseeing the audit of operations against company procedures and government regulations, and comparing current procedures and policies with emerging best practices to determine the appropriate direction for the supply chain.
- Provide oversight of order management, quote process, pricing, procurement, and systems analysis and integration.
Experience:
- Experience in developing and managing operational staff
- Experience with using and/or implementing software
- Experience with multi-company and multi-location environments
- Experience with international accounting, including multi-currency translations
- Problem Solving - Attention to detail, eager to learn and develop new solutions, persistence in driving improvement, and process driven

Qualifications
- 11 years progressive operations knowledge
- 6 managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Master's degree preferred
