The Director will perform analysis of information; implement strategies and select technology and software to effectively support and enhance the Company. The Director is responsible for maintaining technology, and software and addressing any tech-related problems or needs.
The Director helps the Company move forward with advances in technology, software and methods of processing and managing information. The responsibilities of this role also include continuous evaluation of new software, and applications delivery options (On-premise, public cloud, private cloud, hybrid, mobile apps, etc.) to ensure the company’s software inventory is well-matched to the then current and future business process model.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate multisite IT systems and services via enterprise resource planning (ERP)
- Collaborate with leadership to create long-term plans and improvements
- Establish and enforce IT guidelines and standards
- Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks, computer systems, software) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
- Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and make recommendations for improvement
- Design and customize technological systems and software platforms to improve customer experience
- Ensure Company technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws and regulations
- Prioritize, direct and organize IT-related projects (systems, network and software upgrades)
- Estimate and establish technological cost parameters and potential ROI
- Select and implement suitable technology to streamline internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
- Approve purchases of tech equipment and software, and establish partnerships with IT providers
- Monitor changes and advancements in technology to discover ways the Company can gain competitive advantage
- Study current with new industry trends, technologies and software development
- Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization
- Represent the Company at conferences and networking events
- Perform other duties as assigned.
