The head of Digital Marketing (VP of Digital) should be a modern, disciplined leader who is excited about telling the company’s story in a compelling manner and playing a crucial role in shaping our digital presence and enhancing our brand reputation. This pivotal role demands a tech-savvy marketing leader with a comprehensive understanding of digital platforms and a passion for utilizing data-driven insights to optimize our marketing strategies.
In short, we are looking for a strategic and innovative Digital Marketing leader who will develop and execute B2B digital marketing strategies to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness, and optimize customer acquisition and retention across digital channels. You will own our digital marketing efforts to drive brand growth, pipeline acceleration, and customer engagement. Your leadership will empower the marketing team to execute high-impact campaigns, ultimately contributing to increased customer acquisition and retention, as well as achieving our overall business objectives.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the overall vision and strategy for the companies global website, including the design, architecture and user experience to optimize performance, usability and conversion.
- Manage the creation and execution of a content strategy for the website, ensuring content is high-quality, SEO-optimized and aligned with the company messaging and goals. Work closely with content creators to maintain a consistent voice across all digital assets.
- Lead the creative team and deliver on digital, collateral, event and other creative requirements.
- Drive connected digital brand campaigns connecting thought leadership with targeted demand generation activities.
- Optimize for SEO, inclusive of site architecture, technical foundation, keyword support and editorial content
- Enhance the user experience of the company’s website and ensure it is optimized for engagement and conversions.
- Support global growth through site internationalization across country specific sites – Identify regional website requirements and future feature needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute website re-build projects aligned with business priorities and timelines
- Provide positive and effective leadership to the digital and creative marketing teams, instilling a culture of rapid testing and optimization, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation.
- Increase speed to market through streamlined processes, automation and technology integrations, while building a self-serve model to increase the agility of the larger marketing team
- Work cross-functionally with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Communications and MOPs teams to personalize the consumer experience from acquisition through retention.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- A deep understanding of the digital landscape and its potential for compelling brand narratives and performance campaigns, combined with a deep understanding of the marketing technology stack.
- Proven experience in senior-level marketing roles, with a track record of success in developing and executing digital experience and conversion strategies.
- Expertise in web analytics (Google Analytics), A/B and multivariate testing tools, content management systems, technical and content SEO, web QA and domain/url management
- Digital campaign management. Understanding what buyers want and building out campaigns and demand generation programs to complement this vision
