- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
- Present financial results to executive leadership and the Board of Directors, offering insights and recommendations.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings and audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and oversee external audits.
- Collaborate with the CFO and other executives to develop financial strategies that support business growth.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for key business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
- Direct the annual budgeting process, working with department leaders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- CPA or CMA certification (required); Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA (preferred).
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing complex accounting functions in a large or growing organization.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
