A leading commercial law and lobbying firm in Orlando is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician in our Orlando office. Primary duties include supporting the technology needs of internal and external meetings and events. This role monitors and supports common meeting collaboration tools, such as WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc. Using the firm’s scheduling application, this role handles resource scheduling and routine AV maintenance for all assigned systems, ensuring dedicated room equipment is tested and functional at all times. This position also provides PC tech support as workload permits.
Position requires two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment. The ideal candidate possesses advanced software and hardware expertise in computer and H.323/room-based systems and demonstrates proficiency in video and audio editing software. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are also required, as is a strong sense of professionalism and initiative. Candidate must be customer service-oriented and have the ability to multitask and prioritize requests in order to complete same in a timely manner.
