Lead Audio Video Technician
Base Pay $52,000.00- $75,000.00/Per Year
Infinity A/V and Security in Sanford has immediate full-time position for AV/Sound Lead Technician. This is a permanent, full-time, Monday through Friday position. Candidate would be responsible for the oversight and installation of various Commercial Low Voltage System installations in Orlando and throughout Central Florida.
Infinity AV and Security is one of Central Florida’s premier residential and commercial systems integrators. We offer sales, service, engineering, installation, design and consulting services for a vast number of low voltage systems including: Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Distributed Audio, Home Theater, TV Distribution, Voice/Data and Pro Sound.
This position is an hourly position and also includes and company vehicle,so a clean driving record is required.
We are looking for a dependable candidate who can work independently with a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ verifiable experience as a full-time Audio Visual Technician. This candidate must be proficient in installing and troubleshooting Audio Video; CCTV; Distributed Audio; TV; Pro-Audio; Television Distribution systems. Candidate should take pride in the work they do while providing a professional and safe working environment. Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Customer Service skills
- 3 – 5 years of consistent and recent work in the Audio Video industry
- Understanding of Audio Video installation, construction techniques as well as structured cabling and low voltage systems
- Ability to manage small and medium sized projects
- Ability to read/interpret plans & specifications
- Understanding of electric circuits and wiring in low voltage applications
- Experience programming IP based products with an understanding of computer networking
- Experience or basic understanding of test equipment related to this field
- Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, AMX type control systems
- Proficient in wire and cable management
- Experienced in setting up wall and ceiling mounted displays, projectors and projector screens
- Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug tests
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to perform installation of concealed devices and wiring
- Motivated team player with positive attitude and desire to learn and deliver high-quality work
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot in the field and conduct diagnostics to successfully problem-solve under pressure for all types of low voltage systems
- Proficiency installing and/or servicing Audio Video; CCTV; Distributed Audio; TV; Pro-Audio; Television Distribution systems
- Working knowledge of low voltage systems integration including, but not limited to, equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques and testing procedures
Additional Qualifications (Not Required)
- CTS; CTS-D or CTS-I Certifications
- BICSI Certifications
- Crestron programming/certifications experience
- Extron programming/certifications experience
