CFO

Looking for Private Equity experience with M&A CFO to join the firm.

The range starts at 225K and plus with bonus and Equity

PE Backed company who needs to help business continue to grow, and help the organization navigate a potential sale process in 2025. Our ideal candidate will be someone who has proven themselves ready to move into the CFO role. This person will be a key member to the company’s executive leadership team and will be intimately involved with the sale process and interacting with various external parties to help move things forward. We also need someone who has a proven ability to pivot from executive level work to work that might be considered more “in the weeds” as needed.

An overview of the role is as follows:

• Strategic partner to CEO providing financial and operational insight to growing the business.
• Lead and manage accounting and reporting functions to promote GAAP compliance for the company. Stay informed on current pronouncements, literature and regulatory guidelines. This will include hiring a Controller for daily management of this function.
• Work closely with PE sponsors on strategy execution and proper reporting.
• Work with banks and any other financing parties for proper reporting and capital needs of organization.
• Partner with the CEO in day-to-day oversight of business and company objectives.
• Oversee preparation of monthly performance review and reporting package to investors and executive team.
• Provide analysis and insight to senior managers and business line leaders in an effort to support ongoing business decisions.
• Assess business performance to identify, recommend and implement opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost containment and resource optimization.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as CFO is a plus, but not required
• Prior experience working for PE owned company
• History of interacting with banks and other investor partners
• Prefer prior experience helping an organization scale and expand
• Strong communicator—need to be able to build relationships across the company and also with external partners and customers
• CPA plus, but not must have

Pay: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
