The Associate Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be a key strategic partner, responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and decision support for one of the area’s fastest growing and most dynamic companies. This proactive individual will also lead systems integrations that leverage new technology to drive operational efficiency, financial insights that support business strategy, and long-term growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Lead and coordinate the company’s financial planning process, including annual budgets, long-range planning, and annual reforecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Provide financial guidance to Senior Leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Provide financial support to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) /Business Development team.
Change Management and Process Optimization Lead:
- Strategic Advisory and Change Management – Provide leadership and guidance on process improvements, system best practices, and change management to maximize adoption and efficiency across finance functions. Finance lead on ensuring the business is positioned to benefit from AI enhancements.
- Lead ERP System Overhaul – Serve as the primary finance representative in the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new or upgraded ERP system, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability.
- Finance-IT Liaison – Act as the key point of contact between Finance and IT, translating financial requirements into system capabilities and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Process Automation and Efficiency – Identify, prioritize, and implement automation initiatives to streamline manual financial processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Vendor and Solution Selection – Evaluate and recommend technology vendors, automation tools, and ERP enhancements to drive operational efficiencies and support business growth.
- Data Integrity and System Integration – Ensure seamless integration of financial data across systems, enhancing reporting, compliance, and decision-making capabilities.
Business Performance and Analysis:
- Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track business performance and efficiency.
- Partner with business units to evaluate financial impact of business initiatives.
Compliance:
- Ensure financial compliance with federal, state and industry laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ensure compliance with any debt covenants and reporting requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with automated accounting ERP system.
