What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time (Temporary) Full Charged Bookkeeper position at Confidential Posting?
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and post accounts payable (AP) invoices accurately and timely.
- Review and post accounts receivable (AR) daily deposits.
- Prepare and record journal entries (JE) in the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor GL account balances.
- Assist with tax filings, including sales tax and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage 1099 preparation and reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Ensure accuracy in financial records and assist with audits as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and tax reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
