Job Summary
Stepping into the shoes of our Accounts Payable Clerk role means embracing a role that is key to maintaining good relationships, optimizing cash flow and contributes to the company’s financial stability. It's a position that requires meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of A/P processes. As the A/P Clerk you are responsible for ensuring that vendors are paid accurately and on time, which is critical to operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and review accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
- Manage daily payment activities
- Maintain account ledgers, post account transactions, process check requests, ensure invoice approvals, and respond to vendor inquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned by managers
Competencies:
- Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
- Solid understanding of basic book-keeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a love for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office and
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Knowledge of:
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Must enjoy working in a collaborative team setting
