Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven automotive Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and driving strategic initiatives that contribute to the growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in market analysis, sales strategies, and customer relationship management.
Duties
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth targets.
- Drive business to our store by actively engaging with incoming customer inquires.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Utilize our CRM and other software tools for tracking sales activities and managing customer relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on dealership goals and deliverables.
- Prepare reports on a weekly and monthly basis for senior management on business development progress.
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive business development or sales, with a strong understanding of new car franchises.
- Excellent strategic planning skills, with the ability to think critically and develop actionable plans.
- Proficiency in VinSolutions, E-Leads, Dealer Socket or similar customer relationship management software.
- Experience within a new car franchise experience is a preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
