What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Sales Manager position at Confidential?
New car franchise dealership is searching for an experienced sales manager to add to the team. The ideal applicant would have experience developing and recruiting a successful sales team. The applicant must be driven, motivated to make a difference and focused on driving sales on a daily basis without getting easily distracted by tasks that do not help in achieving monthly sales goals.
Responsibilities & duties include but are not limited to:
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
- Directs sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.
- Monitors salesperson productivity and performance.
- Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs to ensure objectives are met.
- Displays, merchandises and promotes new- and used-vehicles.
- Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Presents car deals in a manner that maximizes profit and creates opportunity for the finance department.
- Negotiates and closes car deals within the parameters of gross profit that the dealership has established without concern for prejudice or personal gain.
- Takes personal accountability for ensuring dealership finance and documentation compliance is met on every car deal.
- Addresses customer complaints to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Makes sure facility is secure, well lit, and professional in appearance.
- Oversees pre-owned vehicle reconditioning process. Knows current time-to-line and actively works to improve time and process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
