We are seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Senior Operations Manufacturing Manager to lead a great team! Your hands on leadership will oversee the activities of a team of production workers. Base DOE, bonus and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- The Production Manufacturing Manager hours are on site on the production floor daily M-F 6am-4:30 pm with intermittent Saturdays as required
- Collaborate with other management teams to attain goals.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles
- Attend daily production meetings
- Utilize internal computing systems and programs (Excel and other tools)
- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
- Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Collaborate with leadership teams such as HR to hire, train and supervise current and new employees
- Inspect and train others to inspect materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
- Implement productivity and process improvements
- Implement and improve training programs
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Assess, mentor and train staff
Qualifications:
- Related experience in production, manufacturing, lean/JIT practices producing durable goods
- Must be able to work on site, on the production floor daily M-F 6am-4:30pm and with alternating/intermittent Saturdays
- Demonstrated Production floor engagement and team building skills
- Minimum 5 years experience with manufacturing/production of products utilizing, sheet metal, wood, paint
- Strong skills and experience in hands on supervision, discipline, training and growing staff
- Strong skills in ensuring safety programs and protocols
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Computer literate with the ability to utilize ERP Systems, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and other software programs with the ability to pick up new programs with proficiency
- Proven experience in implementing processes and procedures to improve training, productivity, processes and safety
- Strategic planning skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong Bilingual communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish)
- Ability to collaborate and partner with other teams
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
