We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and providing insights into our financial health.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare journal entries and manage payroll processing accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure timely filing of returns.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial reports and insights as needed.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Experience with account reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations.
- Understanding of debits, credits, and journal entries in accounting systems.
- Ability to perform account analysis to identify trends or discrepancies in financial data.
- Knowledge of financial concepts related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
