Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant for small CPA firm.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles with experience in bank reconciliation.
This is a full-time, in-office position, with semi-flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Providing accounting/bookkeeping services to assist the CPA with numerous clients. You will work directly with clients in this role.
- Light administrative work such as; answering incoming calls, responding to emails, running reports for other professionals in office, preparing tax returns copies to mail to clients, processing client payments, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks Online and Desktop versions), Excel, and Word
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping position
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Tax experience in Drake or other tax packages a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
