We are seeking a Business Line Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations for a Title & Escrow business line and Mortgage Origination subsidiary. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting function for multiple Title & Escrow and Mortgage Origination entities, ensuring GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Manage the month-end close process, including daily escrow account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition across all entities per GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including underwriters, escrow officers, and internal teams) to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Support financial reporting and audits, working with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide financial insights to leadership, assisting in business strategy and decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize accounting functions and support business growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- 3 years of experience in Title & Escrow accounting (required).
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Qualia, and Salesforce preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
