What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lease Administrator position at Confidential?
Commercial property owner seeks an experienced Lease Administrator with strong commercial real estate and/or legal secretarial experience to manage company’s portfolio consisting of retail strip centers, industrial space and office buildings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate leases in collaboration with leasing and property management professionals.
- Prepare detailed lease abstracts to track pertinent terms.
- Author communications to tenants, e.g. delivery of possession, default notices.
- Initiate court filings and collections, track payment plans and make recommendations for resolving accounts in arrears.
- Maintain detailed archives of lease documents and correspondence with tenants.
- Report insurance claims to carriers and track all claims until they have been settled.
- Track certificates of insurance (COI’s) received from tenants.
- Process paperwork for move-in and move-out of tenants.
- Review Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations and estimates prepared by accounting department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of lease administration experience.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a wide range of responsibilities.
- Strong verbal, writing and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Compensation:
- Generous salary and benefits package for the right candidate.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
