What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lease Administrator position at Garden Communities NJ?
Large privately owned well-established Real Estate Development/Property Management company seeks Commercial Lease Administrator. This is a full-time position, no evenings or weekends located in our Short Hills, NJ office (no hybrid or remote option). Salary to commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:
- Accurately read, comprehend, and abstract details of commercial leases
- Maintain and enter new leases, amendments, assignments, renewals into Yardi software
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to tenant emails/phone calls professionally
- Provide bookkeeping support: enter daily checks, ACHs, and wire deposits. Charge and update billings as necessary
- Ensure success of monthly billings, follow up on outstanding payments
- Work closely with Legal department on delinquent accounts
- Complete annual/quarterly CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills a must
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel required
- Willingness to be a team player
- Knowledge of any of the following: financial reporting, property management, general accounting or leasing preferred
- Experience with Yardi software preferred but not required
- Previous Commercial Lease experience preferred
