Trusted New York City Metro Area full-service business law firm seeks highly motivated mid-level attorney to join its busy Commercial Litigation practice group and handle a wide range of commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting sophisticated litigation matters and bring a proactive, client-focused approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and administrative hearings.
- Support all aspects of litigation from case inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation and appeals.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the New York Bar (or eligibility for admission).
- Four (4) to eight (8) years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Excellent research, writing, oral advocacy and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for advocacy.
