What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Operator/Material Handler position at Confidential?
Responsibilities Include:
- Safely Operate Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, and material handling equipment.
- Load, store, & move materials in and out of racking
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks (if needed)
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
- Reading/writing/math/communication skills to process and interpret work instructions
- Locates materials by pulling and verifying materials listed on production orders.
- Tagging materials per production orders and specifications listed on work orders
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating a overhead crane
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Discernment for safety
- Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach and climb consistently for twelve hours.
- Must be able to lift 45lbs. from floor to shoulder level.
- Must be able to work overtime where necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years overhead crane experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Possibility of working around unpleasant odors.
- Working in non temperature controlled environment
- Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
